Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet said: ‘There is no one who dies as a martyr except that he wishes to return to the world and be killed again, for what he sees of the honor of martyrdom’ (a blessing shared by others who will be entering Paradise without reckoning).
Other hadiths describe horses of ruby and other precious materials in Paradise that fly with their riders wherever they wish.
This concept of gaining rewards for specific deeds ties into the idea that entry into Paradise can be bought.
